John Storrs SW Hills Remodel
John Storrs, a highly respected Portland Architect who specialized in wooden structures, is known as one of the fathers of Pacific Northwest Architecture. This home was remodeled keeping the original design integrity intact. Real hardwood floors were used in the main living areas, creating a nice contrast to the rich walnut cabinets. The bathroom designs were also kept very clean and contemporary using square and rectangle tile, and floating walnut cabinetry.
